Where does your practice show up on Google Maps?

A patient looking for a dentist often searches Google Maps for “dentist” or for the treatment they need, and calls from the first few practices on the list. That list changes with where the patient is standing. A practice can be first for people on its own street and missing for people a mile away, and nothing in the Google dashboard shows the difference.

This free report searches Google Maps the way a patient would, from 25 spots a mile apart around your office, for “dentist” and up to two treatments you want more patients for. It shows where you are in the top 3, where you are further down, and where you do not appear at all. It names the practices that take the top 3 most often and sets their reviews, rating, photos and online booking beside yours.

What the report checks

Beyond the map, it reads your listing the way Google does and compares it with your own website: the opening hours on both, the phone number, the street address with its suite, the categories you list and the ones the practices in your top 3 list, whether each treatment you picked has its own page, and whether your contact page gives directions and a map that points at your listing. For a US practice it also reads the public NPPES dentist registry, whose address and phone Google can see.

Every finding is a fixed rule with its evidence shown, the same rules our Google Business Agent runs for the practices that use XreplyAI. The report leads with at most three changes, in the order that matters most, and lists anything else it noticed in one line each. It never tells you to buy links, to add a category for a service you do not offer, or to ask only happy patients for reviews: those are against Google's rules and can get a listing suspended.

Nothing on the report is written by AI, and nothing here touches your listing or your website. If a source cannot be read, the report says so instead of counting it as a pass.

What happens next

Send the form and we prepare your report. John then gets in touch to set up a 15-minute walkthrough, where you see the report, go through the three findings together and agree what to change first. If you would rather have the listing, review requests and treatment pages kept up to date every month, that is what XreplyAI does, and there is a 14-day trial, card required.

Questions

What does the report measure?
Where your practice shows up when a patient searches Google Maps from 25 spots around your office, for "dentist" and up to two treatments you choose. For each search it counts how many of the 25 spots put you in the top 3, the top 10 and the top 20, and names the practices that hold the top 3 most often, with their rating, review count, photos and categories.
Why 25 spots and not one ranking?
Google Maps weighs how far each practice is from the person searching, so a patient two miles north sees a different top 3 from a patient two miles south. A single ranking hides that. The report searches from a 5 by 5 grid of points a mile apart, centred on your listing, so you see where you are visible and where you are not.
What does it not see?
Calls, direction requests and bookings, which only your own Business Profile shows. Apple Maps, Yelp and insurer directories. Searches made by phone with location turned off. The report says what it measured and lists anything it could not read, rather than guessing.
Where do the findings come from?
From the same rules our Google Business Agent runs for practices that use XreplyAI: your listing compared with your own website (hours, phone, address, categories, a page for each treatment) and with the practices in your top 3 (reviews, rating, photos, booking links). Each finding shows its evidence, and the report leads with at most three, in a fixed order of what to change first.
Is any of this written by AI?
No. Every number is read from Google Maps, your website, Google’s profile data and the public NPPES dentist registry, and every finding is a fixed rule with fixed wording. Nothing on the report is generated.
Why do you ask for a phone number?
Because you get the report on a 15-minute call with John, and the number is how we set it up. It stays on our records only. Each number can request up to two reports a day.
What happens to my data?
We store your name, practice name, email, phone, website and the treatments you picked, plus the public Maps and website facts the report read and the report built from them. We go through the report with you on the walkthrough, and its link works for 90 days after it is made. Nothing here touches your Google listing or your website, and no patient information is asked for or stored.
Why do I get the report on a call?
Because the numbers need a few minutes of context: why one spot ranks and the next does not, which finding to fix first and which can wait. It is a 15-minute call with John, on your screen, and you keep the report afterwards. If you would rather have your listing, review requests and treatment pages kept up to date every month, that is what XreplyAI does, and the call covers how. There is also a 14-day trial, card required, cancel any time.
