How to delete all your tweets in bulk

Deleting one tweet at a time on X takes forever once you have hundreds of them. Here is the faster way, using the bulk deleter:

  1. Connect your X account. Sign up for a free trial and link X through its official OAuth. You log in on X's own site, so we never see your password.
  2. Load and filter your tweets. The tool fetches your most recent tweets (up to the last 3,200 X exposes) so you can scroll through and check the ones you want removed.
  3. Select in bulk and delete. Tick up to 100 tweets per batch, review the preview, and confirm. Repeat the batch to work through a larger archive.

Deletions are permanent and cannot be undone, which is why the tool shows you a preview of everything you selected before it removes anything.

How to delete a single tweet on X

If you only need to remove one post, you can do it natively on X without any tool:

  1. Open the tweet you want to delete on x.com or in the X app.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the tweet.
  3. Choose Delete, then confirm. The tweet is removed right away.

Manual deletion is fine for the occasional post. Once you are clearing dozens or hundreds of old tweets, doing it one by one is slow and easy to lose track of. That is when selecting and deleting in batches saves real time.

Why delete old tweets?

Recruiters and hiring managers often scan a candidate's public timeline. Old jokes, complaints, or half-formed opinions can read very differently out of context years later, so clearing them keeps your profile focused on what you want people to see.

A brand or career pivot is another common reason. If your account used to be about one topic and you have moved on, deleting the old posts stops them from muddying the message for anyone who lands on your profile today.

And some takes simply do not represent you anymore. Removing tweets you no longer stand behind is a quick way to keep your timeline honest about who you are now.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to pay to delete tweets?

No. Sign up for a free trial and you can start deleting tweets immediately.

Can I delete all my tweets at once?

You delete in batches of up to 100 tweets at a time. To clear a full archive, run the batch as many times as you need. The tool loads your most recent tweets each pass, so you work through them in order.

How do I mass delete tweets for free?

Sign up for a free trial, connect your X account, select the tweets you want gone, and delete them in bulk. No credit card is required to start.

Will you see or store my password?

Never. We connect via X's official OAuth — you log in directly on X's site and we never see your password. You can revoke access at any time from your X settings.

What data do you store?

Your XreplyAI account and the OAuth connection to your X account — that's what lets the tool delete tweets on your behalf. We never store your tweets: the list you see is fetched live from X and not saved. You can revoke access anytime from your X settings or disconnect the channel in your dashboard.

Can I undo a deleted tweet?

No. Deletion via the X API is permanent and cannot be reversed. We show you a preview of selected tweets before you confirm, so you can review before deleting.

Does deleting a tweet remove its replies?

Deleting your tweet removes that tweet and the replies you posted on it. It does not delete replies other people wrote. Those stay on their own accounts, though they lose the parent tweet they were attached to.

Is there a limit to how many tweets I can delete?

You can delete up to 100 tweets per batch and repeat as needed. X's API returns up to your last 3,200 tweets, which is the furthest back any tool can reach without a full data archive import.

How many tweets can I delete at once?

You can select and delete up to 100 tweets per batch. Starter plans include 100 deletes per month; Team plans include 500 deletes per month.

Does this work for old tweets?

Yes. The tool fetches your most recent tweets from X's API. For very old tweets, X's API returns up to the last 3,200 tweets on your account.
